Funny 5 minutes!

Had the strangest experience today! I worked a morning shift this morning and ad a 5 minute break all day, so only had time to squeeze in some chicken and sweet potatoe (naughty I know!). When I left work I wasnt feeling to hungry, after having numerous coffees so I had a shake when I got home and headed to body attack. The class was packed, real good atmosphere. Around halfway through I started to feel light headed and extremely hungry!!! Then I felt like the lights were flashing and realised I was about to faint if I didnt leave.....this has never ever happend to me before, not even during the dreaded comp week train. I left the class and stumbled home lol Lucky I live a 2 minute walk away. By the time I got home I had the shakes so I had some chicken and a little bit of brown rice, this didnt do anything and I ended up eating around 300g of brown rice before I came right!!! Feel bummed I had to stuff up the diet but sometimes things have to be done. It is so important to eat every 3-4 hours, so so important.....spose you only learn from your mistakes right?!

Im really excited to see the comp pics from the Nzebb show in NZ this weekend, all the pro's will be there so will e an awesome show, would love to have been there : ) The link to the pics (when their up!) is http://www.muscleimaging.com/. Good motivation!

Finally heres a quote for all of you who are prepping at the mo:
Every time you stay out late....
Every time you sleep in.....
Every time you miss a workout....
Every time you don't give 100%....
You make it that much easier for me to beat you.

Oh so soar!

Well, as im writing this now I can officially say that every muscle in my body is soar! and I LOVE IT!
Hit legs, Bi's and Tri's today in a circuit style workout, then did a spin class this evening and my legs are smashed!!

Nutrition wise everything is going well, eating clean and avoiding junk. I am focusing on eating clean, wholesome foods that aren't processed i.e. no protein bars and ready made protein drinks. Not only are they way tooo sweet but their full of sugar. Chicken or egg whites are the best choice I think by far.

This will be challenging week at work, with upping the cardio my energy will be dropping and I also have 2 short changes (finishing at 930pm and coming back at 7am). With proper planning and prep of meals this shouldn't be a problem.....not the shouldnt!

Here is one of my idols, she is so down to earth its unbelievable. She guest posed at a show I did last year and her performance rocked the crowd. Jo Stewart:
Well thats all for me at the moment, will update at the end of the week!

Truckin along nicely..

Just a quick update. Things are going great, managed to loose just over a kg, that was with my diet being a little stuffed up last week so im happy! I want to loose around 5kgs by the 12 week mark to that I wont have to do hours of cardio in the last few weeks, those of you that have done this will know exactly what I mean!

Diet for today:
M1: Oats and portein powder
M2: 4 Egg whites, sweet potatoe
M3: Tuna sandwhich (Burgen Bread..my favourite!)
M4: Shake (after my workout)
M5: Fish, veges
M6: Will be natural yoghurt with protein powder

I trained with my trainer today too, did chest back and tris.... and I know im gonna be soar tomo! Does anyone do negative chins? They hurt! At the moment im a lil to big to do them without another person but as soon as the next 5kg's come off ill be doing tonnes of them!!

Well thats it for today, i hope everyone else is still on plan : )

Its like Christmas all over again : )

What a week so far, not only did I finally get paid but my very lovely daddy lent me his credit card to do my grocery shopping on line! I qutie like getting my groceries delivered, saves so much time and it only costs $12.95.

So this means no more excuses now, I have EVERYTHING I need to stay on track. My new diet from Josh is arriving soon, and I have another session with my trainer on thurs.

Im finding it hard getting used to being hungry again, I find my self looking for things to nibble on, suppose its a habbit really. When Im hungry I reach for diet coke, of coffee loaded with sweetner...not the best choices! This time round I really want to work on this and think about my health in general and choose the right choices with food. Sweetner is awful for your gut and bowel!

Anyway enough about that. Here is my starting pic, the begging point of my journey.....I have posted it so that I can see the changes that will happen.

Having to make do..

Well, this week has been challenging to say the least!!

Ever since I moved here, things have gone slightly wrong lol Firstly I had issus with my flat, had to move a week after arriving into a new place. Then I couldnt get a Visa so had to start work late, which meant I missed all the important orientation and study days. Now......two weeks pay has been lost in transit lol After being told it would be in my account by Friday, it now turns out it wont arrive untill next week. So this week has been a strange week in terms of eating!! Having no protein powder is definately an issue lol I have been living of brown rice and chicken, hardboiled eggs, tuna sandwhiches and corn thins and p/nut butter. What a week!

Anywho........... I have some good news, Josh from Physique Essentials has taken me onboard! Along with a trainer from my gym, he will be guiding me through comp prep this time : )

I am looking forward to beggining PROPERLY!!

Train hard everyone and take care!

Ok this is is.......18 weeks and counting

Have just been for a training session with a PT from my gym, she is a competitor herself. Told her about my comp history, what has happened now, and what I want to achieve. After listing the many excuses why I cant compete she said to me "if you want something badly you can move mountains if need be" and she is right!!

Yeah my job takes up a lot of time, yeah im new to the country, yeah I still need to make friends but why should this stop me from competing. I needed someone else perspective and now I've got it I can see how I was just maing excuses. So here it is.......

My countdown to the all female classic!!

I will try and post reguraly, every two days if I can.

This time I am going from a whole new perspective, Im going to forget what I did last year and start again fresh. I am going to listen to ONE persons advice and stick with that, as last year I got advice from too many people and think I would have achieved better results if I stick with one plan.

Good luck to everyone else who is training for this comp, Im looking forward to meeting you all backstage : )

I want to get back to this!

Well I have just been reading Charlottes post about staying at, or near comp weight all year round. For me, that wasnt achievable.....weighing in now around 10-13kg's heavier. As the Lovely Katie put it that is a sack of spuds!! Im in the middle of watching biggest looser at the moment, if these people can manage to loose 50k's + then surely I can stay at a healthy weight.

So.......my new goal is to get back to 59-60k's. This is definately achievable and hopefully wont take me to long to get back there!

And heres a before the comp pic of me.....I would love to look like this all year round, and look harder and bigger for future comps : )
